REF #388 - CS-7387
"The Guardian"
The concept for this guitar was a lightweight (carved top and back, thin, and chambered) guitar that could fill many roles and be comfortable for a long night of gigging. The woods and pickups were picked to achieve an even tonal response while the string-through-body design and chambered body will resonate and sustain for days.
The guitar is already under construction and the gallery topic is linked above.

My smallish, bright sounding, light weight guitar.
It has carved bevels on the front (roughly drawn - you'll have to use your imagination!)
Single master volume, plus toggle switch. Pullpot on the volume control sets the bridge pickup to singlecoil mode.
This shape is very ergonomic for me (I've already done a mockup in cardboard) and it should balance well. The color should be Seafoam or Mint Green, with lacquered maple fretboard. I'll probably order a second one with a "Union Jack" paint job later |
